LIFE TRANSITIONS | BERGSKOOL
BERGSKOOL seeks to accompany children in Grade 7 with their important LIFE TRANSITION to adolescence.
Through the process of a year-long preparation, a camp, and a year of accompaniment afterward (as Warriors)we become DEEPLY INVOLVED in each child's life and SUPPORT them through this physical, emotional, and spiritual transition.
These children hold MANY GIFTS for South Africa, despite the challenges they face daily such as gangsterism and limited opportunities. Each year, we watch as friendships develop between children of different economic circumstances, cultures and backgrounds.
We have witnessed the IMMENSE IMPACT of this accompaniment and continue to GROW the involvement of this project to include the children of less fortunate communities and those exposed to violence and gangsterism.
